Billy Rae Reynolds, the son of a preacher man, was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. Originally a drummer, he migrated through various instruments before settling on

guitar at age 17.

Armed with a fake ID and his beloved Gibson SG, he played the regional club circuit throughout high school, college and beyond.
